SUN OF HOPE FOUNDATION is grassroot organisation founded by HER EXCELLENCY MRS GIMBIYA YAKUBU DOGARA can be describe as a woman with a big heart, whose effort in supporting and helping the vulnerable and the less privileged have received commendation from many within and outside Nigeria.

She is the president of the Sun of Hope Foundation. For many years now she has provided support and assistance to people in different capacity. she has been committed to this through her foundations impacts in various areas especially the grassroot one of which is the empowerment of farmers through the distribution of farming instrument worth millions of Naira to over 7,000 youths and women in Tafawa Balewa, Bogoro and Dass Local Government Areas in Bauchi State as part of the project for the foundation Sun of Hope.

Over 3,500 youth and 3, 500 women benefited from the farming program that was implemented in over three local councils the gesture was to help fight rural poverty and hunger. The Sun of Hope foundation is also provided health and education interventions across the country, donating medical equipment and consumables in VVF centres in Ninigi in Bauchi State as well as VVF centres in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State and Zaria, in Kaduna State.

The foundation has conducted free medical outreach in the three councils particularly for pregnant women and children. Also continue free medical serves during our annual Leem Zaar festival in Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa Local Government area in order to reach out to every community.

The foundation has also showed their support for skills acquisition centres and schools by donating sewing machines and grinding machines to empower start-ups and presented educational materials to head of schools of different secondary schools from many local governments in Bauchi state.
